Holbox Island is a fishing island, therefore the basis of its gastronomy is fish and seafood, always respecting their life cycles that mark the balance of the ecosystem.

In our restaurant, you can enjoy the region's most classic dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, such as "Ceviche," prepared with fish and/or seafood marinated in lime juice and mixed with the popular Mexican salsa, "Pico de Gallo" (tomato, onion, and cilantro). "La Mariscada Xaloc" is undoubtedly one of our signature dishes, where lobster takes center stage . To accompany these specialties or simply enjoy it at any time of day, we recommend "Guacamole," made with avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro, and lime. It is certainly one of the most popular dishes in Mexico; try it with some tortilla chips.
